Kate Burnett

Professor at the Nottingham Trent University in the UK, at the School of Art & Design, and since 2013 is a visiting professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences at study programs in the field of stage design. During her extensive career, Kate Burnett has worked on numerous projects in the field of theater architecture, but also in the field of theater design as a set and costume designer. She was also the curator of numerous exhibitions of the Society of British Theater Designers, and in 2007 the project director and curator of the national exhibition of Great Britain at the Prague Quadrennial, as well as the curator of the student exhibition of Great Britain at the PQ in 2015. From 2007 to 2011 she was the president of the Commission for Theory and History of OISTAT. As a long-time lecturer at the faculty, she was a mentor and supervisor of many student projects in the field of theater and costume design.
