Seminar From an Idea to a Business

The seminar From an Idea to a Business is intended for individuals who are considering to start their own business, as well as existing businesses that want to further develop, expand and improve their operation and results. The aim of the seminar is to encourage the reflective process that precedes the investment into a business idea – how to approach the development of a new businesses, to weigh the potential risks and chances of success, and then apply the acquired skills and tools to develop a complete business plan and a stable business in itself.

 

The seminar is conceived as training of individuals or companies in the field of entrepreneurship through interactive workshops and individual and group work. By the end of the seminar, participants will develop a business idea, analyze whether it is cost-effective and feasible, make a plan for the implementation of the idea and develop a complete business plan. The seminar is divided into three modules, while individual work on specific tasks is planned between the modules, with mentoring and consulting support. Seminar is conducted by trainers and consultants Ana Stanić and Aleksandra Vladisavljević. Ana and Aleksandra have been presenting this seminar since 2011 for the needs of various development programs.

 

Ana Stanić lives and works in Belgrade as a trainer and business consultant, and is the founder of Viga. She has 20 years of experience in the fields of marketing, management, training and business counseling. She worked with a number of clients from different industries from the Balkans and is a board member of UPKS – Association of Management Consultants of Serbia.

 

Aleksandra Vladisavljević is the owner of Bizz, a company focused on developing businesses and entrepreneurship. She has over fifteen years of professional experience, while in the last 12 years she is dedicated to the development of competitiveness of local economies. Since 2007, she is independently present on the market offering business consulting services. She has participated in the development of numerous studies, research projects and strategic plans related to, among others, issues of local economic development, entrepreneurship and innovation as well as social entrepreneurship.

 

Dynamics and dates of the workshop are carefully selected so that the employed participants would be able to attend. The seminar starts on April 17th and runs until June 26th  2015.

 

The tuition for the seminar is 1.200 EUR per participant, or 990 EUR for early bird registrations until March 20th 2015. Payment is possible in two ways: by paying the full price in three equal monthly installments, or full payment in advance which also secures discount for early registration.

 

The deadline for early registration and discount is March 20th, while the deadline for the regular price (also the deadline for payment of the first installment) is April 10th. The tuition covers: participation in workshops during the three modules described in the program, individual consulting and mentoring support, all work materials, reminders and instructions for individual tasks, as well as lunch and refreshments during the workshops.
