Realities in Transition Launches Its Second Edition – Unwritten worlds

After three years of successful collaboration across Europe, Realities in Transition officially launches its second edition, continuing its mission to support experimental and socially engaged XR creation.

This new phase brings together long-standing and new partners: Chroniques, L.E.V. Festival, V2_ Lab for the Unstable Media, DARK EUPHORIA, Beta, MEET Digital Culture Center and Nova Iskra. Together, the consortium will further develop collective artistic residencies, circulation opportunities, and shared tools for the European XR ecosystem.

The project also expands beyond European borders through collaborations with associated partners: Immersive Arts Space, DTRM Lab and Arts Commons Tokyo — opening new perspectives and strengthening international XR connections.

As immersive technologies continue to evolve, the project addresses key questions:

How can XR truly serve artistic creation?

How can we create immersive works that are sustainable, accessible and economically viable?

How can XR experiences generate meaningful impact for audiences?

Last week, the consortium gathered at Nova Iskra in Belgrade for the partners’ kick-off meeting, marking the beginning of this new chapter. We are thrilled to continue this journey together with our partners.
