“From Waste to Print” Workshop Wrap-up
Reflecting on the wonderful conclusion of our “From Waste to Print” workshops!
Grafička Mreža (Novi Sad) and Nova Iskra organized two inspiring and hands-on workshops on May 24th and 31st at the Udruženje Skup space in Novi Sad, as part of the international project Craftwork 4All, supported by the Creative Europe program.
-
Art from Waste: Under the expert guidance of visual artists Tatjana Marticki Cvejin and Sanja Žigić, participants transformed waste into art—learning the process of handmade papermaking and combining it with the striking expression of linocut.
-
International Exchange: The second workshop, held on May 31st, was specially enriched by the arrival of multidisciplinary artist Erika Sjöberg from Sweden. Through the Go & See Mobility program, Erika acquired a new skill while sharing her rich experience in participatory art and community work, sparking a valuable dialogue on sustainability, craft traditions, and international collaboration.
A big thank you to everyone who participated, created, and shared their energy with us. We look forward to new encounters, ideas, and shared creative processes! ✨
