“Linking” by Luka Papić Selected for Screening in Barcelona
Nova Iskra is proud to share that the short video Linking by Luka Papić has been officially selected for the 7th International Crafts Audiovisual Exhibition – 7a Mostra Internacional d’Audiovisuals d’Artesania in Barcelona. The first screening will take place on September 27th, after which the film will continue to tour across Spain.
Linking was created as part of the Knowledge Atlas and the MADE IN Intertwined exhibition in Serbia.
The film explores the interconnectedness of local Serbian crafts, natural materials, and research. It gives physical presence to the processes behind traditional knowledge, capturing how the act of making shapes both the craft and the person practicing it. By focusing on the individual and their relationship with the material world, Linking offers a poetic reflection on the tangible and intangible dimensions of craft today.
