Review of the Visit to Porto: Building Brave New Worlds

From June 8 to 13, Luna Jović and Mila Rubežić, managers of Nova Iskra Savamala and Zemun, embarked on a visit to our twin hub – CRU Hub in Porto.

This visit was made possible through the Twin Hubs program, supported by the European Creative Hubs Network, and it provided an exciting opportunity to share innovative ideas and forge new connections.

The trip allowed for an exploration of Porto’s coworking spaces and facilitated discussions on both similarities and differences. Moreover, it served as a platform to introduce the Nova Iskra Creative Hub to the local community.

One particularly noteworthy event was the gathering at Bombarda, where the aim was to foster critical dialogues about the world and the neighborhoods in which we reside. It served as a powerful reminder that, as individuals united by the ideas of creative hubs and coworking spaces, we actively shape and create brave new worlds.

Coworking spaces hold significance as meeting points for the exchange of ideas and as incubators for innovative practices. They play a vital role in nurturing a collaborative and forward-thinking community.
