Within the second cycle of the NELT Educational program, participants of the program were introduced to Škart collective.
ŠKART Collective was founded in 1990s in the graphics studio of the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade. This unique aristic team deals with poetry, graphic design and alternative education. The first decade, (1990 - 2000) was marked by “samizdat” (self-released) projects and their sharing on the streets. In the second decade (2000 -2010), the group co-founded several new collectives: Horkeškart and Proba choirs, children's choirs Deca sa meseca and AprilZMAJun, including the youth-retirement choir HOR-RUK and the antifascist choir UHO (united choirs). Since 2010, the collective is increasingly involved in working with children (at the foster home “Vera Radivojević” in Bela Crkva) and with pensioners.
