About the presentation

INTERTWINED: Crafting Connections for the Future
December 10, 2024 – January 14, 2025
Museum of Applied Art, Belgrade

The “Intertwined” exhibition is a centerpiece of the MADE IN Platform for Contemporary Crafts & Design, an initiative that bridges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design and innovation. Created in collaboration with Nova Iskra Creative Hub and the Museum of Applied Art in Belgrade, the exhibition reimagines the significance of crafts in modern society.

A Multilayered Narrative on Craft and Society

The exhibition critically explores contemporary craft practices by integrating themes of sustainability, heritage, innovation, and activism. Through the selected works of artists, designers, and craftspeople, “Intertwined” underscores the pivotal role of crafts in shaping a sustainable and equitable future.
