This year, the Resonate festival at Nova Iskra

This April, the Resonate festival, following the success of the sold-out last two editions, will once more offer a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the work of leading artist, educators and European schools. Resonate is a platform for networking, information, knowledge sharing and education in the fields of new media, interactive art and transdisciplinary art projects. Resonate brings together artists, designers and educators to participate in a forward-looking debate on the position of technology in art and culture.

 

In addition to the main locations (Kolarac and the Museum of Yugoslav Film Archive), the program will also be held at the cultural center Parobrod and the Design Incubator Nova Iskra.

 

Lecturers, students and professionals will present their work and educational methodologies through a series of open workshops, panel discussions and interviews. In addition to the previously announced lecture program, performances and panel discussions, Resonate is pleased to announce that the entire education program of the festival has been developed in collaboration with some of the leading professionals and educational institutions from the fields of interactive art, digital media, art and design.

Resonate will for the third time become the international center ofknowledge exchange and connect over 1,200 visitors from over 40 countries and 200 cities worldwide. In collaboration with Raiffeisen bank, Resonate also offers free access to day time program for students from Serbia. These tickets are available to 150 active students in Serbia. In addition to free student access, this year Resonate will also support eightlecturers, professionals and artists from Serbia. That will include free access to the festivals, day and night program, as well as free participation in one of the 3-day workshops taking place between  March 31st and April 2nd.

This year, Nova Iskra has the honor of presenting a part of the Resonate 2014 program. On Friday, April 4th our space will be hosting three lectures by the distinguished festival guest. More information about the speakers and the program can be expected soon, while entrance will be free of charge.
