About the lecture
Jack Kuveke, Lead Evangelist at GameCredits, will introduce us to the cryptocurrencies and the ways that they are related to the gaming industry.
The gaming industry is approaching 150 billion USD in value, but both developers and gamers are facing archaic problems. Developers are paying huge fees for distribution platforms and account frauds, as well as billing refunds, while gamers are struggling to monetize their passion, and many of them around the world have no access to the accepted payment options.At the same time, interest and development of the cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies are growing.
In his lecture, Jack will explain how these new technologies have the power to transform the gaming industry completely, for gamers and developers, and what Game Credits does to accomplish that.
Through GNation, an alliance of companies gathered to bring innovation into the gaming industry, GameCredits has been developing GPlay, an innovative game store that brings new elements to the players and developers, as well as GShare, which turns your computer into a revenue source, using the power of sharing economy. Last December, creative hub Nova Iskra launched a special program cycle dedicated to the gaming industry, entitled FTW! Gaming Hub. Every month, interesting and inspiring lectures will be presented to a wide audience and young professionals, as well as those interested in entering professional gaming. The topics will include various aspects of this fast-growing industry, which has been experiencing great expansion in our region for the past several years.

During 2010, Jack became obsessed with creating gaming servers for the gaming industry. Through this experience, he got to know the industry’s problems. In 2015, he found out about blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies and spent several months researching and investing, discovering GameCredits in the beginning of 2016. Using his experience in gaming industry, Jack realized the potential of cryptocurrencies and joined the GameCredits management board in October 2016. Since then, he has helped the community to grow to tens of thousands of members/investors around the world and has helped the currency boost from 0.10 USD to 2.5 USD.
