New issue of Zent magazine is in the bookstores!

Starting September 20th the new, third issue of Zent magazine can now be found in the selected bookstores: Beopolis (Dom Omladine), Apropo (Cara Lazara 11) and Booka Store (Cara Lazara 12), as well as in the Palmas Boutique (Mihizova 11) and Nova Iskra, who is also the publisher of this specific magazine. The regular price of the third issue is 900 RSD.

Zent magazine, a magazine for extra-ordinary reflection of the present, is dedicated to the research and examining the issues that deal with the problematization of the “contemporary“ in all of its aspects. Zent is political, insofar as it does not see politics (only) as a matter of institutions, but above all, as a matter of everyday relations between individuals and communities to each other and to the world.

There are different types of texts in this third issue of the magazine: theoretical texts, prose, poetry, visual interventions and artistic projects that, on more than 100 pages, critically thematise “the others” (drugost) in the wide spectrum of its appearances in a contemporary society.

Zent’s language is written in accessible and understandable manner, while it also experiments with forms of expression (from photography, through literature and architecture to theory) with the intention to problematize the relationship between “high”, “popular” and “national” culture, “experts” and “amateurs”, managers and those that are managed.

Zent is for everyone and for all, and before every following issue, the magazine announces a thematic open-call for authors in different disciplines to suggest the text and visual identity for the upcoming issue.
