About the lecture

Discourse on the visual artist’s experience in fine arts pedagogy; presentation of different projects and contemporary approaches to working with children of preschool and school-age in the domain of fine arts, both worldwide and locally, in the context of kindergartens, primary schools and different cultural institutions, such as museums, libraries, etc.

The Nelt company organizes the fourth cycle of the Nelt educational program aimed at students, in collaboration with Nova Iskra and 12 HUB Gallery. Within the fourth cycle of NEP, 27 selected students will have the opportunity to develop practical skills in the domains of creativity and entrepreneurship, in addition to broadening their horizons regarding critical thinking, teamwork, and product development. The participants will partake in a unique experience of collaboration and learning, which this year goes under the slogan THE OTHER SIDE OF KNOWLEDGE!

Vera Večanski

Professor at the Department of Methodologies of Art Subjects

Graduating from the Fine Arts Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1999, she received her PhD in 2015 at Teacher Education Faculty in Belgrade, in the field of didactic - methodological sciences (methodology of teaching fine arts). She works at the Department of Methodologies of Art Subjects at Teacher Education Faculty in Belgrade. She actively participates in different projects in fine arts education of preschool and school-age children, engaging as an author, associate, and producer in various cultural institutions (Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade, Children's Cultural Centre in Belgrade, Children's Section of the Belgrade City Library, etc).
