Nova Iskra part of the Swedish Institute Innovation Leaders (SIIL) initiative

23 innovation experts from Bosnia Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Serbia, covering academia, public and private sector took part of the first edition of the Swedish Institute Innovation Leaders program in the western Balkans organized in 24-25th April in Belgrade this year.

The aim of SI Innovation Leaders (SIIL) is to contribute to the innovation ecosystem in the western Balkan region. The goal is to create a platform for knowledge exchange and problem solving between innovation field experts within private sector, public sector and academia, with the help of Swedish expertise and experience.

Nana Radenković, Nova Iskra program manager is one of the Country Advisory Team members along with Lazar Lekić from Ministry of Innovation and Ivan Andonov from Polyhedra Fab Lab Serbia.

The selected SI Leaders are coming from various organizations, companies and clusters: Marina Blagojević, Acting director/Project coordinator, ICT Network, Serbia; Bojana Borković, Co-founder and Business Development Executive, Strawberry Energy, Serbia; Iva Cvjetićanin Design Hub Coordinator, Tetra Pak, Serbia; Đorđe Đorđević, Innovation Manager, ICT Hub, Serbia; Nikola Komšić, Independent Advisor for Innovations, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, Serbia; Miloš Paunović, CSR specialist, Nordeus, Serbia; Ivana Stančić, Social Innovation Program Manager, Smart Kolektiv, Serbia; Petar Vrgović, Associate professor, University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Serbia;

By the end of the program we will be a part of a strong network of innovation ecosystem experts for a strong and innovative future in the western Balkan region.
