Project Collab 4 HySust: Recap of Knowledge Sharing Session 2
The second Knowledge Sharing Session of the #Collab4HySustCCI project was an invaluable gathering that united mentors with 15 carefully selected teams across various countries. This online event served as a platform for practical networking and knowledge exchange, with a particular focus on fostering innovation in the Southeast Europe region’s creative and cultural sectors.
Event Highlights:
- Connections: Participants engaged in presentations and discussions that facilitated meaningful connections. The event showcased numerous exciting projects, underscoring the creative and cultural sectors’ potential in Southeastern Europe for cultural sustainability and audience development.
- Insights: Expert-led sessions delved into audience dynamics within the Creative Industry Value Chain. Furthermore, discussions centered on aligning each pilot’s cultural impact with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Agenda 2030. Participants gained practical tools for enhancing collaboration aimed at sustaining activities and engaging audiences. Special recognition to experts Maider Maraña and Michael Panayotis for their contributions.
- Support: Open discussions fostered a supportive community where ideas flourished, and solutions emerged. To ensure no participant left empty-handed, CCIs and mentors received a toolkit developed by Intercultural Consult to aid in their pilot pre-assessment sessions.
Looking Ahead: The success of this session sets the stage for the next gathering, which will take place in May 2024 in Belgrade, adopting a hybrid format to accommodate both physical and online participation. Individuals interested in supporting the #Collab4HySustCCI pilots or contributing to the incubation support for cultural and creative organizations in Southeast Europe are encouraged to reach out.
