Changes in the Nova Iskra team

Nova Iskra was founded as a creative hub at the beginning of 2012, thanks to the dedicated work of several co-founders and their close associates and, above all, friends. We know that none of what we have accomplished over the past eight years would have been possible without dedicated teamwork, through which we have all learned a lot, became more advanced as professionals and most importantly – better people. We can freely say that we are proud of all the members of our team so far. Over the past few years, we have proudly sent off some of them onto new professional challenges, and thus we have met new colleagues who brought us fresh perspectives and enriched the experience of working at Nova Iskra in every possible sense.

This month, after eight years of active and dedicated work within our team, one of our co-founders and International Cooperation Manager Relja Bobić is pursuing a new challenge that awaits him with SGA – Association of Video Game Industry of Serbia, where he will be working as the Program Director. We are looking forward to new programs and projects that will enrich an important niche within the Serbian sector of creative industries sector, bearing in mind that Relja has made key contributions to the program development of Nova Iskra, as well as our international positioning as the leading creative hub of our region.

Relja’s role as International Cooperation Manager at Nova Iskra will be taken over by our dear colleague Ivan Manojlović, who has been successfully conceiving and implementing multidisciplinary, international projects and programs with us for almost two years now, enriching them with his specific curatorial and artistic perspective. In the meantime, Relja will remain fully committed to the strategic development of Nova Iskra, alongside other co-founders and our management.

We congratulate both of our colleagues, as well as SGA which, as we believe, has made the right choice in order to realize the great potential of the domestic gaming sector, as well as for the development of the organization itself.
