Nova Iskra at the “Ilucidare Playground” Conference in Brussels

Nova Iskra took part in one of the panel discussions at this year’s “Ilucidare Playground” conference, held on November 20th.

Kristijan Šujević, our Co-founder and Nova Iskra Studio Manager, participated in the panel entitled “Heritage as a Resource for Innovation”, where he spoke about the importance of understanding the past of the cultural heritage on the way to the future. Kristijan also presented some ways in which Nova Iskra is developing as an organization, using new ideas and methods in its work through innovative projects and constant education. Other participants on the panel were Sergiu Ardelean (Co-founder Artivive), Gaia Redaelli (Director at PAX) and Charlotte Trigance (Co-founder of Studio Sherlock).

“Ilucidare Playground” creates unique space for unconventional discussions, networking, international exchanges and innovations. By strengthening professionals from cultural heritage domain, researchers, innovators, policy-creators, activists and volunteers in their collaborations, the goal of the event was to contribute classification of international and EU actions for cultural heritage and cultural relations.
