Within the Creative FLIP project and its second round of peer-to-peer exchange program for creative hubs and communities across Europe and its neighborhood, CRU Cowork from Porto will be hosting guests from Nova Iskra in Belgrade.

What is mentorship? Is it for me? What can I learn and gain from it? If i become a mentee or a mentor, what impact will it have on my personal and professional development? Should I find a mentor for myself? And if yes – how? These are just some of the questions we will discuss jointly with participants and the audience, in an interactive presentation and Q&A session. This program will focus on various topics around mentorship and its specific value for personal and professional development to the upcoming leaders in the field of culture, art and media.
Creative Mentorship was developed in Serbia 8 years ago as a bottom-up initiative, from the need which was recognized by initiators. Since then, through every new cycle and new generation of mentees and mentors, the program has been further developed and improved. Creative Mentorship promotes mentorship as a way of lifelong learning and exchange of knowledge and experience between established professionals, mentors and emerging professionals, mentees. So far, 5 cycles of the program were realized with more than 250 participants..Our network represents 250 ambassadors of the idea of mentorship, knowledge and experience sharing, and mutual support.

The P2P (peer-to-peer) exchange program within the CreativeFLIP project aims to engage the leading, established and innovative creative hubs with colleagues from emerging hubs across Europe, as well as with relevant educational institutions. The idea of the exchange program is to seek new formats of cross-sectoral cooperation between creative hubs and the education sector, to launch joint projects or plans, as well as to exchange knowledge and expertise across Europe through public, educational events. In 2019-2020, CreativeFLIP organizes and supports 50 exchanges between creative hubs across the EU, but also the neighboring countries. Each exchange will support a team of two hub representatives – a hub team member, as well as hub community member – providing an opportunity for a total of 100 individuals to experience working in another creative hub, city and state, and engage in transfer of knowledge and experience.
CreativeFLIP is a pilot project co-financed by the European Union and led by the Goethe-Institut. It seeks to support healthy and sustainable ecosystems related to finance, learning, innovation and patenting (FLIP) in the domain of creative industries (CCI).
