Roman Chekmarev

Roman Chekmarev (born 17 January 1989) is a ceramic artist, educator, and researcher. He studied Artistic Ceramics at the Higher School of Ceramics of Manises (Valencia, Spain) and holds a degree in Socio-Cultural Activities from the University of Culture and Arts. His practice focuses on traditional craftsmanship, material research, and unglazed ceramics. Roman combines studio work, educational programs, and community-based cultural initiatives, exploring the relationship between contemporary ceramic practice and craft heritage.
